Late Bloomer

The beat never misses
So the song can’t be
denied
Blue water
Red eyes
One drink, one pull
One plate
Belly’s full
Why such a violent world,
where does that come from
Is it you that is the
tiger and you that tastes the blood?
Repeat
Late bloomer
With an early flower
Hot sun
Heavy rain
Late bloomer
I’m the queen of failure
I remind you of it’s charm
I get refreshed and beaten
down
One pull
up a day
Then I fall to the ground
I want to walk through the
streets in a suit made of money
And let everybody rip and
claw me
And let everybody rip and
claw me
Late bloomer
I’m the queen of failure
I remind you of it’s charm
Late bloomer
With an early flower
Hot sun
Heavy rain
Bridge
Early morning sunlight
Sweet and lonely nightlife
We looked inside
We were all we wanted
We were all we had
We had nothing to hide
Early morning sunlight
Sweet and lonely nightlife
We looked inside
We were all we wanted
We were all we had
We had nothing but time
Killer instinct, your mind
tries to ignore
When it wages its
suppressive war
When you show your
greatness
You expose your weakness
And it reduces you to
pieces
Why such a violent world,
where does that come from
Is it you that is the
tiger and you that tastes the blood?
Repeat
Late bloomer
I’m the queen of failure
I remind you of it’s charm
Late bloomer
With an early flower
Hot sun
Heavy rain
